Lyme Regis

Lyme Regis enjoys a dramatic coastline with breathtaking scenery, making it a resort to enjoy all year round. The beautiful harbour and Cobb are iconic features famously depicted in John Fowles’ The French Lieutenant’s Woman and Jane Austen’s Persuasion.

The town lies in Lyme Bay, at the very West of Dorset. It is noted for the fossils found in the cliffs and beaches, which are part of the Jurassic Coast - a World Heritage Site.
